Yousef Saleh Erakat

Yousef Saleh Erakat was born on January 22, 1990 in Freemont, California.[5] [6] His parents are of Palestinian origin. He has three older siblings, Mohammad, Ahmad and Noura Erakat.

Growing up he was a bit of a wild child getting into trouble getting into regular boyhood stuff like playing with BB-guns, sports, and of course pulling pranks.

High School

In highschool was in the cool crew at school, in a tiny school with only a 100. He was even nominated as prom and dated strictly Asian girls. He was also the lead actor in all his school productions and was on the school football team.

He lost his virginity in a place known as Coyote Hills late at night in his first car, a Honda Accord.

He also experimented with drinking and drugs but with his parents being strict with traditional ideals this was certainly something he couldn’t get caught doing or talk to his parents about.

He graduated from San Jose State University as a theatre arts major. And as soon as he graduated he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career.

His religion dictates that he is not allowed to get tattoos or piercings but when he first moved to LA and was taking acting classes he was looking to find himself so he opted to get a Tattoo, a decision he would come to regret. So much so that it even pushed him to a point where he contemplated taking his own life.

Depression, addictions and therapy are other revealing personal issues he has shared with his millions of viewers.

While in LA Yousef began taking acting classes, he got an agent and would go to auditions but as the story goes, becoming an actor is difficult and likely for a Palestinian American even more so.
